About ShikshaCloud

Education software should feel like it was built by people who’ve actually sat in a school office at 6 p.m.

That’s the standard we’re building to. Not to be “another ERP,” but the one your staff room stops complaining about.

01/The Reality

Walk into most school offices in India, and you'll find the same thing: three Excel sheets, one register that doesn't match either of them, a WhatsApp group doing the job of a notice board, and one overworked person who's quietly become "the ERP guy," even though that was never their job.

Ask that person to pull a NAAC report, or reconcile attendance for a NEP compliance audit, and watch the panic set in. Not because the data doesn't exist. Because it exists in five different places, in five different formats, and none of them talks to each other.

“That's not a technology problem. That's an operational problem.”

Every ERP built for Indian education so far has been built like it's still 2010 — heavy, jargon-loaded, and clearly designed for someone whose full-time job is "managing the ERP." Nobody asked what happens when that one person quits.

02/The Origin

Sunny, who had spent a decade working with institutions, saw the exhaustion up close. From company founders to school principals under the burden of paperwork that nobody really enjoyed. Rushing deadlines, going for systems that needed more manual work to run them for the reason they were actually built for.

Tushar was on the other side of the table, with half a decade working directly in the education industry as a marketing and operations head, hearing the same complaint in different words every time: "We don't need more software. We need this to stop being a headache."

Put those two views together, and the answer wasn't "build a better ERP." It was: build something a teacher can actually talk to. Something a school can turn on without hiring someone new to run it. Something that treats compliance as a feature, not a fire drill.

📍

That sentence didn’t get built in a boardroom. It got built at the founder’s house, the same kind of place where half the schools we’re building for actually sit, far from the metro-city sales pitches most ERP companies are built around.

03/The Foundation

ShikshaCloud is an AI-native ERP for schools and colleges, built for the generation of students it now serves, not the generation of ERPs that came before it.

Ved, your ERP that talks back.

No ERP manager required. A teacher types (or eventually, says) "mark Class 8-B attendance" or "generate Aarav's fee receipt," and Ved does it conversationally, without a training manual. The whole point of Ved is that the least tech-comfortable person in your staff room should still be able to run this system confidently on day one.

Document Studio: reports without the 2 a.m. panic.

NAAC self-study data, NBA documentation, transcripts, ID cards, fee receipts, certificates—generated on demand, not assembled by hand the week before an audit. If a compliance body asks for it, Document Studio should already have it ready.

Role-based access that actually makes sense.

A principal, an accountant, a teacher, and a parent don't need to see the same screen, and shouldn't. Everyone gets exactly the access their role calls for. No shared logins, no "please don't touch that tab," no confusion about who's allowed to edit what.

Compliance built in, not bolted on.

NEP, NAAC, and NBA requirements aren't an add-on module you buy later; they're part of how the system is structured from day one.

04/Our Audience

Not built for IT departments. Built for real schools.

Not the metro-city colleges that already have three vendors and a dedicated IT team. This is for the tier-2 city school that's still running on Excel and WhatsApp, and the college that wants to look and actually be as modern as the students walking through its gates. Institutions where the person who'd normally have to "figure out the ERP" has forty other things to do today.

05/The Founding Partner Scheme
Strictly Limited Cohort

We’re early, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

ShikshaCloud is in its founding phase, working directly with our first schools to get every workflow right before we scale. That’s why we’re running a founding partner scheme: the first five schools that come on board get a free 3-month trial, then 30% off standard pricing for the following year, because the schools that trust us first should be the ones who benefit most from it.
